Fatema was once a regular student at Alingan Foundation, attending her classes with curiosity, laughter, and dreams for a better future. Like many children from underprivileged communities, education was her path to hope. No one imagined how suddenly her life would change.
Everything took a painful turn when Fatema was diagnosed with a brain tumor. What followed was a difficult journey filled with hospital visits, medical procedures, and emotional exhaustion. Her family did everything within their ability to seek treatment, hoping each step would bring improvement. Sadly, despite continuous care, Fatema has not yet recovered.
Doctors have now advised that Fatema needs advanced medical treatment to improve her condition. This level of care requires specialized facilities and long-term support, which is far beyond the capacity of her family alone.

Fatema’s situation reflects a reality faced by many families across Bangladesh—where serious illness meets financial hardship. Parents are forced to make impossible choices, not because of a lack of love or effort, but because resources are limited.
