Asiya Akter is a child from a poor family. She had to drop out from school due to their poor financial situation, and she was forced to do housework to earn money. Then the Alingan Foundation came to stand by her side. Through the Alingan Foundation, Detlef Schultze took responsibility for her education and we saved her from child labour and re-enrolled her in school. Several years have passed since then. Asiya has now passed secondary school, and, as a reward for this success, Detlef extended his support for two more years. Following that, the Alingan Foundation admitted her into college & bought her the necessities for study.
